Bruce Almighty was a widely watched movie over the holidays. It begs a comparison with Job, in particular:

(i) The words of God (Morgan Freeman v Yahweh) - compare Job 38 - "Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?"

(ii) The response of humanity - Job 40:4

On another level, the prayer of Bruce's girlfriend for his relationship with God suggests a comparison with the ministry of reconciliation in 2 Corinthians 5 - "that God was reconciling himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them."
